I’m very sorry to see your condition. Obvious you’re getting better, if you’re Blogging. What happened to you? Hope to see a lot more information about your accident and recovery.

Well I went to the doctors on Jan 11 of 2008 because I was having trouble breathing so the doctor just prescribed me xanax and just sent me home without doing any lab work. So later on that day i took one of those xanax then about 4 hours later took 1 one more xanax because I was still having trouble breathing. So later on that night I had my girlfriend over and few of my buddies over to watch the UFC fight. By time the UFC fight was over I was extremely tired so then I had everyone leave so I can go to bed, I believe this was around 11. my girlfriend at the time stayed up to watch TV so she feel asleep on the couch. Then around 5:30 AM she woke up and came into my room to see that I was laboring on my breathing she saw green stuff coming out of my mouth and nose. She tried to wake me up she wasn’t able to wake me up so she slapped me and poured a glass of cold water on my face. She must of panic and from there all I know is that a friend of mine came to my apartment and got me to the hospital at 8:00 A.M January 12 2008. Do to the two in a half hour delay I lost oxygen to my brain witch means I got Hypoxia witch that gave me brain damage. Because of Hypoxia I went into a coma for 10 days.

oh my gosh donny. tonight was the very first time ive seen this and honestly it made me tear up. you and i both could have been dead but you know what theres still people out there that truly love us. which is part of the reason why we are still here today. i wanna say i love you but that wouldnt be fair. but i sure am glad that your still here and still going strong. keep doing what your doing and showing the world that nothing will stop donnie winn being donnie winn.

Hello Donny! This is Jamie Fredrickson-Angelo. I just saw your webpage. I had heard something had happened to you but i never knew the extent of it. You are so inspiring to see. You have a strong will and an amazing family. You are very right about what you said.. You def find out who your true friends are when you go through things such as this in your life. I wish we never lost touch but after high school everyone went their own way. I would love to come see you some time. Do you still live where you lived in High School?? I will def keep looking on here for you new blogs. You are truly an amazing person. Never let anyone tell you different. Keep your head up and stay strong! Hi Donny,Just read your story about you illness and seen your Video. I am a cousin to Grandma Eve & live in Troy Il where Uncle Charley lives. Cousin Carol gave me this to see your story. We have prayed for you and always ask how you are doing so was thrilled to actually read about you and see your video with your mom and Eve.
