Please join me and others in our TBI fight

May You R.I.P Patrick

It’s a shame when someone passes away and it’s an even more of a shame when you lose your best friend. I considered Patrick to be my best friend…. Me and Patrick had such a close bond and if it weren’t for him I would have probably left TLC! Me and Patrick kept on pushing each other all through the day and then when it came to night time. That’s when all the fun started me and Patrick would get laughing so hard sometimes that the tech would come to our rooms and would tell us to keep the noise down but knowing Patrick he would start laughing even more with his goo fee laugh. Then as soon as one of the techs walked out of our rooms he would scream really loud and there goes his goo fee laugh again!! Ha-ha.
The moral of this blog is to cherish every movement of your day with all of your friends because you never know when your last day could be with them.

We Miss you Patrick. R.I.P.

  1. Hey Donny,
I love watching the video of Patrick! I’m so glad he was your roommate. We really do need to cherish time with our family and friends; we don’t know how long we will have them in our lives. We are so proud of you!
    We love you, Donny!!

  2. Dear Donny….

In April 2009 Patrick had a massive stroke, and during the first 48 hours the doctors didn’t give us much hope he would make it through. However, for some unknown reason he lived through thoes dark hours and each day afterwards he continued to get stronger regardless of the fact he couldn’t speak and he was paralized on his right side. I am confident he got a second chance at life TO MEET YOU…

As Patrick’s mother I am so honored that you considered him your “Best” Friend. I think Patrick considered you more than a best friend…He considered you family…His “BROTHER”….His “HERO”….His “VOICE”… You was always there for him helping him in every way, every day for the past three months at Casa Colina TLC… You “INSPIRED” him to continue to fight to get better…Unfortuneatly he lost his fight on September 28, 2009. He will always be here for you when you need him, so when you feel down and you feel like giving up just think of Patrick and remember his laughter, and his funny faces, and remember Patrick telling you “I LOVE YOU… DON….NY”….WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET….WHAZ YOU SAY….:)
    Continue fighting for Patrick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Hi Donny,
here are some of the pictures of you with Pat’s family

  6. The Roman Family, John, Rose, Tony and Paul were very saden to hear about the passing of Patrick, we have known Patrick since 1970. His parents Frank and Gloria moved to West Covina about 1972 and they told us about a house for sale two blocks from them, we saw the house and brought it. Frank and John worked together at Ladish Pacific Division. They brought an old chevy truck and used it to go back and forth to work. Patrick and our son Tony went to West Covina High School, they were friends and we saw them often. Patrick was our plummer, very funny and his laugh would get us laughing too. We thank you Donny for making this film about Patrick.

He has not passed as long as he is still alive in your heart and in your memories.I believe he is living through you because you loved him so much. may God keep you strong and allow you to have the best dreams of your friend. Patrick was such a lucky man to have had you share the most precious part of his life with. May he liveon FOREVER in your hearts. You’re a very special friend!

  15. Donny,
Hey bud! I hope you remember me. I lived at TLC for a few months. I am so saddend by this news. I loved hanging out with Patrick. His friends and family were great company also. All my family/friends are in San Diego. So I had to make friends or die of loneliness you know!? You and Patrick were good friends to me and that kept me going. At any rate, I know he is in a better place now. I am so stoked that you guys became so close. It works better when you get along with your roomate. Gosh! this is just crazy!! Remeber ‘baseball’ and “baby’? That is all Patrick could say!! I will miss him. Hey. If its not too much trouble, can you tell me how he died? Thanks dude, let me know how your doing too, please. It has been a long time!!
    See Ya!!
    Dennis
